The School of Foreign Languages attached great importance to this competition, establishing a special working group for the event. They carefully planned, clarified roles, and meticulously arranged everything to ensure the smooth progress of the competition.

Before the competition, college English instructors provided initial training and guidance to students in class. Teachers like Huang Wenjuan and Zhu Zitong organized special training sessions for the contestants, offering targeted guidance on listening, vocabulary, reading, translation, and writing, helping students achieve excellent results.

During the finals, the four contestants from our school, led by teachers Huang Wenjuan and Zhu Zitong from the School of Foreign Languages, competed against more than 300 outstanding students from top provincial universities, including Hunan University and Central South University. Despite the strong competition, our students remained calm and performed well, ultimately achieving great success. This competition not only showcased the students' English proficiency and comprehensive abilities but also reflected the fruitful outcomes of the school's ongoing English teaching reforms.
