The university competed in three events: the Roban Humanoid Standard Platform, Roban Humanoid Standard Platform Virtual Simulation, and the Aelos Humanoid Standard Platform. These events included tasks such as humanoid robot vision algorithm development and application, path planning and navigation, motion control algorithm development, and autonomous driving software algorithm development and simulation.

Under the guidance of their instructors, the students formed interest groups based on their chosen events, adopting a well-coordinated “battle mode” with clear divisions of labor and strong teamwork. They developed detailed training plans and used their spare time and summer break for intensive training sessions, tackling numerous challenges and technical difficulties. Through collaboration and perseverance, they brought out the best in each team member, ultimately performing exceptionally well on competition day, showcasing both their technical skills and the positive spirit of Xiangtan Institute of Technology students.
