Recently,the final of the 13th "H3C Cup" National College Students' Digital Technology Competition attracted much attention,which has been held at the headquarters of Hangzhou H3C Group. Yuan Siyuan who comes from the College of Digital Technology in Xiangtan Institute of Technology won the first prize in the national digital technology competition (bachelor's degree group) as well as the provincial special prize.

Over 38,000 participants from 665 universities have enrolled in the competition.After intense competition and rigorous selections in the preliminary and semi-final rounds, more than 300 participants have been selected for the national competition. Among them, our student Yuan Siyuan stands out from the fierce competition with his solid professional theory and innovative practical ability.

The "H3C Cup" National College Students' Digital Technology Competition is jointly hosted by H3C Group and the Association of Fundamental Computing Education in Chinese Universities. It has been included in the observation event list of the Research Report on National Computer Competition for College Student released by the China Association of Higher Education(CAHE) in 2023. Since 2010, the H3C Cup competition has successfully held 13 sessions, attracting nearly 110,000 contestants from over 3,800 universities. Over 10,000 outstanding participants have successfully secured employment in H3C Group and its ecological partner enterprises.

This award is a strong reflection of our university's achievements in project-based teaching in the field of digital technology. In the future, our university will continue to consolidate the foundation of theoretical and practical teaching, vigorously promote project-based teaching to a new level, provide students with broader development opportunities and better educational resources, and strive to cultivate high-quality and high-level applied talents needed by society.
