Recently, the winners of the 16th National College Student Advertising Art Competition were announced. The School of Humanities and Arts at Xiangtan Institute of Technology earned 16 national awards: one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and 10 honorable mentions. Additionally, they won one first prize, one second prize, 12 third prizes, and 28 honorable mentions at the provincial level.

 

The first-prize-winning piece, *Aivos - Capturing Beautiful Journeys*, guided by Ms. Yu Tingting, marked the first time the school achieved a national award in this competition.

 

During this competition, the faculty team at the School of Humanities and Arts skillfully combined course instruction with creative practice. This approach not only greatly inspired students' creativity and strengthened their innovative thinking and artistic skills but also significantly improved the quality of the competition entries. Each team, through collaboration and determination, injected fresh energy into their projects, producing a series of remarkable pieces that showcased both individual talent and the school’s commitment to talent development, exemplifying the CFAP innovative talent cultivation model.

 

The 16th National College Student Advertising Art Competition, held in 2024, is a prestigious national-level competition jointly organized by the National College Student Advertising Art Competition Committee, the Communication University of China, and Daguang Cultural Communication (Beijing) Co., Ltd. It is the largest national event of its kind, covering the widest range of higher education institutions and attracting participation from over a million students across 1,857 universities.

 

**Showcase of National Award-Winning Works**

- **Title**: Aivos - Capturing Beautiful Journeys  

  **Award**: National First Prize

  **Description**:  

  This work features the *Aivos Luggage Series*, cleverly combining a suitcase with a Polaroid camera to capture the essence of a beautiful journey. The interior of the suitcase includes miniature landscapes of iconic locations from India, Chongqing, and Australia. These elements symbolize Aivos luggage as a loyal companion, preserving travel memories. This work not only showcases brand identity but also expresses a desire for a beautiful life. We believe Aivos will accompany us through every memorable moment, recording every beautiful memory in life.

 

  **Acceptance Speech**:  

  “We are deeply grateful to our advisor, Ms. Yu Tingting, who has guided us technically and creatively. Her encouragement inspired us to think boldly and incorporate our emotions and aspirations into this work. After countless discussions and revisions, we created a piece with both profound meaning and visual impact. This award recognizes our past efforts and serves as a starting point for our future endeavors, strengthening our love for illustration art.”

 

- **Title**: Energy Supply Pack

  **Description**:  

  This work, titled *Energy Supply Pack*, combines the *Nutritional Line* with different types of bags, portraying it as an essential energy source for morning routines. It visually contrasts black and white with vibrant colors, highlighting the product’s slogan: “A bottle in the morning keeps you energized all day.” The product provides rapid energy and nutrients, making it convenient for consumers to recharge anytime, anywhere.

- **Title**: V-Person Development Plan

  **Description**:  

  This project centers on the *NICE Toothpaste* campaign for the Gen-Z demographic. Emphasizing its vitamin-enriched gum care, the campaign adopts an MBTI personality for the product, encouraging young consumers to smile confidently. It uses emotional marketing to build awareness and connect with the audience on a personal level.

  “Winning the national second prize is an honor. Our team members’ collaboration and dedication made it possible. Through our advisor's guidance, we refined the project to reveal its essence and uniqueness. This award belongs to everyone involved, and we will continue to pursue creative excellence.”

 

- **Title**: HBN - Radiance for Your Skin

  **Description**:  

  This piece emphasizes HBN's natural botanical ingredients, incorporating the shape of arbutin to create a visually cohesive and meaningful work. HBN aims to soothe and rejuvenate skin, symbolizing confidence in one’s natural beauty.

 

  **Acceptance Speech**:  

  “Thanks to Xiangtan Institute of Technology for allowing us to express ourselves. This award is an incentive, and we will continue to develop our skills and contribute to the advertising industry.”

 

- **Title**: Changzhi Strategy Guide  

  **Award**: National Third Prize

  **Description**:  

  Inspired by Changzhi's cultural heritage, this piece targets young people by presenting a series of city exploration activities as novel-style chapters, evoking Changzhi’s unique atmosphere.

- **Title**: Unconstrained Love, No Surprises  

  **Award**: National Third Prize

  **Description**:  

  Using the mortise and tenon structure from traditional Chinese architecture, this piece represents the durability and safety of *Chiro Condoms*, emphasizing stability and trustworthiness.
