The Student Union of the college is a mass organization of the college, serving as a stage and base for the development and prosperity of campus culture, and an important carrier for cultivating comprehensive talents of college students. Our aim is to serve students to exercise themselves and achieve personal success in life.

The student union of the college implements a chairman responsibility system, with one chairman, six vice chairmen, and one office director. The above members, together with the chairpersons of the student branches of various departments, form the student union presidium, representing the student union of Xiangtan University of Technology externally. There are seven departments within the Student Union: Office, Girls Department, Learning Department, External Relations Department, Psychological Education Department, Sports Department, and Propaganda Department, which work together to ensure the efficient operation of the Student Union.
