"In Golden Autumn, Striking the Job Scene!"

On October 27, Xiangtan Institute of Technology held its 2025 Graduates’ Fall Campus Recruitment Fair, part of Xiangtan’s “Hundred Leading Companies Visiting Universities” event, on the school’s basketball court. This fair brought together 166 employers, offering over 12,000 job opportunities for graduates. President Yuan Libin visited the fair, interacting with recruiters, graduate representatives, and staff, learning about employer needs, encouraging graduates to seize this peak hiring season, and reminding the Career Services Department to provide comprehensive, efficient, and convenient employment services.

Applicants: Well-prepared and Ready to Launch Their Careers**

 

Graduates, full of hope, moved between booths with carefully crafted resumes, engaging in deep conversations with recruiters about job details, growth opportunities, and compensation. Employers responded enthusiastically, patiently answering questions and introducing company culture and job requirements.

 

To prepare for this fair, Zhou Le from Accounting Class 2101 said, “Participating in multiple on-site interviews gave me a sense of how well my professional skills could be applied. I feel much more confident about landing an offer with my desired company!”

 

Gao Jinxia, a student in International Economics and Trade, shared, “When job-hunting, I look for a positive environment, work-life balance, and supportive colleagues. I hope to work in a relaxed atmosphere that also allows me to make my mark in my field. This fair has clarified my plans.” She attended five interviews for trade-related roles aligned with her major, primarily in Guangdong and Hunan, and left with a clearer vision for her future.

Employers: Practical and Clear on Goals**

 

Li Xingyu, an alumnus from the Digital Technology Academy, currently serves as a Market Consultant at Midea’s Changsha Operations Center. Returning as a recruiter, he advised students to consider the future prospects and scale of a company, as these will define their career trajectory. “The job market is increasingly competitive, so I hope my peers seize every opportunity to choose a company and position that fits them well.”

 

Liao Xiaozheng, a recruiter for Hunan Geely Auto Parts Co., Ltd., recommended students utilize their spare time for internships and obtaining certificates to broaden their experience and enhance their skills. “The sincerity and enthusiasm shown by Xiangtan students were impressive, with many of their resumes reflecting a strong interest in the automotive industry.”

University: Well-Organized Services and Strong Support**

 

The event was vibrant and orderly, with student assistants and Lei Feng class members actively providing volunteer services. Career support stations offered personalized “resume optimization” and job application guidance, with staff from each department available for one-on-one support.

 

Vice Dean Yan Liu from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute noted, “The university is committed to enhancing students’ competitiveness, and through continuous experience, our graduates’ employability will only strengthen.”

 

Career Services Director Tang Xiang shared, “I am confident in achieving robust employment outcomes for our 2025 graduates.” He emphasized that the Career Services Office will analyze fair outcomes to develop targeted strategies to further enhance employment support services.

 

Vice President Dai Shugen affirmed the university’s strong commitment to graduate employment, noting the school’s efforts to provide an efficient and high-quality employment platform amid a challenging job market. He expressed hope that graduates would seize the opportunity to enter the workforce, making valuable contributions to both national and local economic development. The university will continue to strengthen partnerships with employers, offering students more pathways to high-quality employment.
