The notice on the application work for the 2023 Xiangtan Philosophy and Social Science Planning Project has been released, and the relevant matters are now forwarded as follows:

（1） Topic setting

This year's planning projects are divided into three categories: major projects, key projects, and general projects. Major and key projects will receive corresponding standard funding, while general projects will not receive funding.

（2） Topic direction

Major topic selection: The main focus of the topic selection is "2023 Major Topic Selection Direction of Social Science Consultation Research on" Leaders Setting Questions and Experts Answering Questions "(Attachment 1). Applicants should choose one based on their own research advantages and academic accumulation to apply, and independent propositions are not accepted. Major projects that have not been successfully applied for can be selected as priority projects.

Key and General Topic Selection: The selection of topics is mainly based on the "Direction of Key and General Topic Selection" (Attachment 2). Applicants can independently choose specific research perspectives and independently propose topics based on the reference topic direction. In principle, the project proposal should be determined from the applied projects that align with the topic direction. Key projects that have not been successfully applied for cannot be approved as general projects in principle.

（3） Situations where declaration is not accepted

For projects that have not been completed or completed in the previous year, those that have been identified as unqualified or have a bad reputation record within 3 years, and those that have not been managed by the applying unit but have applied individually, as the project leader of the project, two or more applications shall be submitted simultaneously.

（4） Related matters

1. The deadline for submitting application materials is March 25, 2023. Late submission will not be accepted.

2. Submission location of application materials: Research Department (Room 408, 2nd Education Department).

3. The materials required for the project application (application notice, topic selection guide, application form, loose leaf, etc.) can be queried and downloaded directly from the WeChat public platform of Xiangtan Social Sciences Federation (official account: Xiangtan Social Sciences).

4. Send the electronic file of the application materials to the email of the Research Office 18670905119@hngeelyedu.cn Please name the application form with "applicant's name+employer+2023 application form", and the loose leaf content does not need to be sent in electronic format.
